This famous video shows Mount Tavurvur's spectacular explosion.
It also contains a bonus: the impressive visible and audible shockwave.

Hübsch gemachtes Erklärvideo über Intelligenz und ihre künstliche Nachempfindung, wenn auch leider wenig technische Details.
Such an intelligence explosion might lead to a true superintelligent entity. We don’t know what such a being would look like, what its motives or goals would be, what would go on in its inner world. We could be as laughably stupid to a superintelligence as squirrels are to us. Unable to even comprehend its way of thinking.
This hypothetical scenario keeps many people up at night. Humanity is the only example we have of an animal becoming smarter than all others — and we have not been kind to what we perceive as less intelligent beings. AGI might be the last invention of humanity

STICKS for motor drum (2024)
#4 I don’t seek an identity, as a creature
Looking for ways to follow a ‘physics aesthetic’ with sound waves in installation settings, I am increasingly integrating motorised musical instruments. This motor drum functions both as a rhythm instrument and as a visual object to create wave progressions and other choreographic elements. Exactly because it has a robotic character, the 6 pieces in the ‘Sticks’ series are given quasi everyday subjective statements as titles.
