Eine Website, die Geräusche veralteter Geräte bewahrt

“Conserve the sound” ist ein Online-Archiv für verschwindende Geräusche.
Die Geräusche eines Wählscheibentelefons, eines Walkmans, einer analogen Schreibmaschine, eines Münztelefons, eines 56k-Modems, eines Atomkraftwerks oder sogar einer Handytastatur sind teilweise schon verschwunden oder verschwinden gerade aus dem täglichen Leben. Begleitend kommen Menschen
in Text- und Videointerviews zu Wort und vertiefen den Blick in die Welt der verschwindenden Geräusche.

“Conserve the sound” ist ein Projekt von CHUNDERKSEN und wird von der
Film & Medienstiftung NRW gefördert.
