There was a long silence in this area, which, unlike the fine arts, only had a few representatives (mainly John Cage, Alvin Lucier and the Fluxus artists) in the avant-garde period.<br \/>\nThere are reasions for the current appearance of the &#8222;New Conceptualists&#8220;: Firstly, because we are in a late postmodern situation, in which music is more object-like than ever, where the idea of material progress in terms of new sounds is exhausted and a <em>new aesthetics of contents<\/em> (Harry Lehmann) has been initiated. Secondly, the progress of digitization enables new forms of (multimedia) presentations corresponding with the needs of concept art. Or maybe the internet actually &#8222;forces&#8220; conceptual strategies.<br \/>\nThis lecture presents relevant compositions and discusses questions of aesthetics, production and reception.<\/p>\n<p>In den letzten Jahren haben sich einige Komponisten im Bereich der musikalischen Konzeptkunst hervorgetan, nachdem es lange still um diese Sparte war, die ohnehin, anders als in der Bildenden Kunst, zu Avantgarde-Zeiten nur wenige Vertreter (haupts\u00e4chlich John Cage, Alvin Lucier und die Fluxus-K\u00fcnstler) vorweisen konnte.<br \/>\nDer jetzige Auftritt der \u00bbNeuen Konzeptualisten\u00ab hat Gr\u00fcnde: einerseits in einer sp\u00e4t-postmodernen Situation, in der Musik objekthafter denn je ist, weil sich der Materialfortschritt im Sinne neuer Kl\u00e4nge ersch\u00f6pft und eine <em>gehalts\u00e4sthetische Wende <\/em>(Harry Lehmann) einsetzt; anderseits in der technologischen Entwicklung der Digitalisierung, die andere (multimediale) Pr\u00e4sentationsformen erm\u00f6glicht, wie sie die Konzeptkunst braucht \u2013 oder vielleicht \u203aerzwingt\u2039 das Internet sogar konzeptuelle Strategien.<br \/>\nDer Vortrag gibt einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber Werke aus dieser Richtung und geht Fragen der \u00c4sthetik, Produktion und Rezeption nach.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kreidler-net.de\/theorie\/conceptualism.htm\">http:\/\/www.kreidler-net.de\/theorie\/conceptualism.htm<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Video des Vortrags vom 27.7.2012, gehalten bei den Darmst\u00e4dter Ferienkursen f\u00fcr Neue Musik.
