So he created the collective Various Artists, composed of 24 fictitious artists, each with a different personality, and each of whom are him.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Der belgische K\u00fcnstler spielt also permanent Karneval und schl\u00fcft mal in die Rolle eines abstrakten Malers, in die einer Splatter-Installateurin, in die eines Minimalisten, die eines radikalen Hungerk\u00fcnstlers usw., l\u00e4sst die K\u00fcnstler auch untereinander kollaborieren oder bietet in Workshops anderen Leuten an, einmal in die Rolle von diesem oder jener zu schl\u00fcpfen. The VA are thus evolving towards a collective conceptual thought, an open structure accessible to all.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Beispielsweise wurde in der Luisa Strina Gallery in Sao Paulo eine Arbeit des Kollektivs ausgestellt, ein Zuckerschloss, begleitet von Performances und Theoriearbeiten.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasapix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/lechateau2.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[7068]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasapix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/lechateau2.jpg\" class=\"alignnone\" width=\"500\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wasapix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/lechateau0.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[7068]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.wasapix.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/lechateau0.jpg\" class=\"alignnone\" width=\"500\" height=\"268\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Schon Jorge Luis Borges hat gerne mit fiktiven Biografien gespielt, z.B. in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pierre_Menard,_Author_of_the_Quixote\">Pierre Menard, Autor des Don Quixotte<\/a>, wo ein Autor komplett das Leben von Cervantes nachspielen will, sodass er dann quasi automatisch den Don Quixotte wortw\u00f6rtlich schreiben w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n<p>Und was ist mit der Musik? Da w\u00e4re so ein Konzept nat\u00fcrlich auch m\u00f6glich; was k\u00f6nnte man da nicht f\u00fcr kuriose, vielversprechende Komponistenleben entwerfen? &#8211; theoretisch. Aber praktisch ist derlei gar nicht vorgesehen, strukturell fast unm\u00f6glich (was soll denn die GEMA davon halten?). Schande!
